2011 rewinded

how can it possibly be 2011

is basically over? it seems like 

i was just saying 

"wow, 2011 already?"

it was your typical year in the pilcher world.

shall i break it down for you, with photos?

i'm going to anyway, and you're

going to enjoy it.

january:

i decided to attempt p365 again.

i set a goal of 6 months, which i met,

so it wasn't a total failure.

no photos for january.

there was nothing unusual, 

and they were all p365 photos...

which are still floating around.

february:

my new camera and lenses came

brandy made me my very own renji <3

it snowed. a lot.

i died.

march:

chick-fil-a opened in dyersburg.  that made

me insanely happy.  we ate there a lot in march.

i turned 31.

brandy and i celebrated our 13th anniversary.

the hamfest countdown was in full swing

gabe had his very first ball practice

april:

hamfest month!

someone dug my black tulips up out of my yard.

did i mention it was hamfest month?

every day was a countdown.

at long last it was off to hamfest for a weekend 

with my girls <3

may:

i started doing slim in 6.

gabe got mvp at his first game

i was raptured by mistake

(i also dated the bitch wrong)

more and more screenshots of DH are

making their way to me.

alee graduated 6th grade and moved into the jr.high

and then we were blowed away by a gnarly storm

june:

the last of gabe's games

tons of DH2 stuff was floating about...making me giddy.

we finally got e's ears pierced!

i started getting excited for the new

season of true blood.

i read the scott kelby books-

"tip(6) If your subject has a round or fat face, make fun of them, and tell them to lose a few pounds. Then, when they burst into tears, you'll have some of the most natural-looking expressions of the day."

july:

DQ finally opened again.

major fail. no little burgers, outrageously  high,

and the food was shitty.

finally time for DH2.

i cried the entire movie. it was so good.

100*+ temps meant tons of time in the pool

my little gabey turned 8!

nox joined our family

august:

my little e turned 6

and started school

brandy broke his appendix, and he broke it good.

alee turned 13!

project triple ham took form.

september:

andy whitfield died.  spartacus will never be the same.

nox ate my $200 turtle beach headset.

facebook ruined my week with the whole

it-picks-the-stuff-you-want-to-read.

i learned the NERF stands for:

Non Expanding Recreational Foam

we sat outside and watched the airshow....instead of 

paying $50 to get onto the airbase and watch it.

october:

i found $20 in my mailbox! score!!

we spent many a pretty fall evening outside

i got twister mania for the kinect from houseparty...before anyone 

could buy it

we had a great time halloween

november:

our max died :(

it was very sudden and unexpected.

we're still trying to adjust to life without him

brandy turned 35!

we drove to mississippi to do thanksgiving with 

brandy's family

saw breaking dawn. was less than impressed.

it snowed. i died.

december:

i glued myself to some shit

the kids all got sick and ran fever of around

102* for a couple days. that was fun.

project triple ham underwent a new endeavor.

put up the christmas crap

went to alee's christmas concert

christmas bitch

typical nothingness going on :)

a day in the life of.....

i've seen this floating around for a while, 

and finally decided to do it myself.

6:30am-9am
i went to pee; opened a mt.dew; turned on
the puter to play for a bit



9am-12:30pm
i decided it was a good time to take a shower;
breakfast-yummy berry bagel with blueberry spread;
time for some lost!



12:30-2pm
i played with wolverine and cyclops; knocked the
chores out of the way; lunch-leftover chinese, yum!



2:30pm-4ishpm
had another mt.dew; watched american dad; wasted time on fb



4ishpm-6ishpm
ate some yummy sour apple cotton candy;
opened a coke; made(and ate!) chili



7pm-9pm
played bioshock; made a late nite run to h&a for snacky things



9:30pm-whenever (midnight maybe, whenever i got tired of taking pictures)
ate yummy doritos; watched order of the phoenix(it
was on repeat, so who knows how
many times i watched it);  finished reading eclipse


randomness that didn't make the
hourly thing but that i still like:








booooring, right?  but that's pretty much every day life round here.
when we have a busy day planned, i think i'm
going to do this again.

it was sorta hard to pick 3 for last month.

days 94, 95, 96, and other nonsense

day 94: heavy fire, baby!

brandy and i were playing borderlands, like always, and

i found this little gem tucked away

by some lockers on trash coast.

i fell out of my chair laughing.

day 95: glass rocks!

i love cokes in the glass bottles.....they

are the best things evah!

day 96: book 4

meh.

i've got a little over a quarter of it left.

and i am so not digging it at all.

it is definitely my least favorite of the 4

22 days, that's just 3 little weeks, until hamfest!

i am so effing excited it's not even funny.

which is amazing when you stop to think how much i hate

leaving the house and being around people.

we've hit a little bit of a snag in

the whole thing--

gabe's first game is scheduled for april 30th.

i cried when we found out.

but i'm crossing my fingers.

it's almost guaranteed it's going to rain that weekend.

i can't ever remember a mud fest where it didn't.

so, if it rains, game canceled and problem solved.

if, by some weird freaky cosmic miracle it 

doesn't rain, we've loosely

decided to drive down friday night, party it up, come home,

hope gabe's game is early saturday, and drive back when it's over.

but surely it will rain.

surely.

i made it!

i (practically)finished march!

for the first time i made it all the way 

through march. i didn't quit, i 

didn't miss a day(almost did, but that's beside the point!)

i hereby declare project 365 2011 a

roaring success! 

now the question is how much

farther will i make it?

can i round out the entire year?

day 88: i loathe the filler episodes.

day 89: it's official. i'm addicted.

i can honestly say that i've eaten there at least 

once a week since they opened. 

i know i haven't "really" finished march yet, i still

have today's photo to do. 

gabe's ball practice got canceled tuesday

because of rain, and rescheduled for today, if it doesn't rain.

practice is at 6, the rain is supposed to move

in around 5, so we'll see.

so, todays photo will be from practice,

or something else...i have a back up.

i think.

and i'm working on my monthly faves post

for jan-mar. i want to get todays shot

before i pick my faves for march.

just in case.

it's spring!

this is going to be a long one. i have lots to gab about today,

plus p365 to catch up.

please fasten your seat belts and keep

your hands inside the vehicle.

 

finally, it's starting to feel like spring!

saturday it was so beautiful outside.

i threw on my bikini and

laid out. my soul

needs sunshine and heat, and the more

i get the happier i am.

i was extremely happy saturday.

and i got to work on my tan lines.

it was really cool yesterday.

today it's cold and rainy, cool again tomorrow,

but starting wednesday we're getting

close to 80. you can

bet your butt i'm going to be outside soaking up

the sunshine!

the kids are on spring break this week.

usually i dread long breaks from school. they fight.

we fight. they cry. i cry.

today hasn't been that bad.

but it's only day 1. we've still

got the rest of the week to get through. maybe being

outside and running off some of

that energy will help.

i've been reading the mortal instruments.

i really really liked city of bones. a lot.

city of ashes was meh. i had a hard time getting into it.

i think it was the whole 

'oh, you're my sister/brother? great! lemme jump your bones!'

i'm about halfway through city of glass.

i like it better than the second one.

not as much as the first.

but i'm not done with it yet, so who knows.
