Colder than a witch's titty......

Happy Hump Day!
It's a frigidly cold day here in my little corner of the south.
I hate it.  I need to be warm.
I need heat and humidity.
I need it to be summer.
Or I need to live somewhere tropical.
Yes, I can see it now......a nice beach with a beautiful shot of endless ocean.....
sand, trees, heat, isolation.
I dream big :P

It's Wednesday, and that means new goodies to scrap with from Polka Dot Plum!

Feast your eyes on this gorgeousness released today from Sir Scrapalot!

And, of course, P365.
Bah.

Is it only day 6?  I was hoping I'd wake up and be like
day 365 or something.......

Anywho, on with today's photo:

You need the right socks to rule the world :P

Yes, those are Cullen Crest socks.  And yes, that is a Jake pillow.
My husband feeds my addiction quite well.
Any time he goes to Hastings he heads to their Twilight section
and picks up anything I don't have.
He loves me like that :D

My thoughts & fun filled opinions on the New Moon Soundtrack....

I really want to know the thought process behind putting together this soundtrack.  Overall it is the most random collection of crap I have ever heard.  Yes, I was less than impressed with the TW soundtrack, but at least it had promise.  There's no hope for this.  At best the songs are just meh, and that's putting it as nicely as I possibly can.

Ready for my rundown of the list and my song by song opinion? Well of course you are!!

15 songs.  6 make me want to rupture my ear drums. 8 are more or less ok, I expected way better.  1, 1 song that saves the entire soundtrack.

Death Cab for a Cutie- Meet Me on the Equinox--- Gag.

Band of Skulls- Friends--- I like the beginning ok(the first 48 seconds...it's downhill after that). Overall it's meh.(maybe ipod material)

Thom Yorke- Hearing Damage--- WTF?! That's all I can say about that one.

Lykke Li- Possibility--- Puke. Could've done without that one.

The Killers- A White Demon Love Song--- meh.(possibly ipod worthy)

Anya Marina- Satellite Heart--- I've heard worse.(ipod list)

Muse- I Belong to You(New Moon remix)--- I usually love Muse. To death.  But I'm not a fan of remixes most of the time. This one is no exception. Barf.

Bon Iver and St.Vincent- Roslyn--- um, wtf is this? Dry heave material.

Black Rebel Motorcycle Club- Done all Wrong--- Really liked this one...the first 25 seconds. Then they start singing. Not that bad, not that good either. Meh. (I see this one making the ipod)

Hurricane Bells- Monsters--- This one I like fairly well.  It had me head bobbin.  (made the ipod list)

Sea Wolf- The Violet Hour--- Not even sorta...even if I was deaf.

Ok Go- Shooting the Moon--- Yeeeah....kinda hard to hear anything over the drum. Meh. (if I can get past the drum, it might make the ipod list)

Grizzly Bear-  Slow Life--- Meh.  It's one of those you can't turn off....you want to stop listening but can't(and ipod material because of that)

Editors- No Sound but the Wind--- It's....hmmm.  Music's good, can't get into the lyrics.

There is one gem on here....I fell in love immediately.

Alexandre Desplat-New Moon(the Meadow)---
It's the Bella's Lullaby of New Moon....
This is GORGEOUS. PERFECTION.  Srsly....it really is perfect and beautiful.  It makes me smile, it makes me cry.(on my ipod, on repeat.)

So there you have it.  My opinion, for what's worth :P

I am the ultimate geek

**This is mostly a Twilight/New Moon post, so if you don't like it, skip it**

So, way back in February, I ordered the Twilight Blu-Ray Ultimate Collectors Set. It came yesterday :D I waited and waited and waited for the UPS dude to come. Finally, at 3:58 pm, he pulled up. Could you hear the fan girl squeeeeeeeing? Yep, that was me. Brandy(wonderful husband that he is) cut that darn tape for me, and I sat on the steps, outside, and devoured my box. Oohing and ahhing over it all-except that there was only the one lousy "photo" with Emmett. Seriously, WTH? Just one?

Of course, we had to watch the blu-ray, even though the girls and I watched the dvd(again) Friday night. ;o)

The 1st(2nd maybe?) draft of the New Moon script was leaked. Just goes to show how desperate us Twilighters are for any bit of anything, I guess. And that's all I'm going to say on that ;o)

Sooo...what else? Hmmm....Oh! I finally got around to using Flergs Twilight kit(that only took forever, right?) Of course, the subject matter was Twilight(New Moon, if you want to be picky), and my all time favorite quote from all of the books combined.

What else do I have??? Yah...nothing :/ I think my finger's broke-don't know how that happened. E's squirming around trying to get into my lap and crying, fun day ahead, I can see it already.

massive posting!

It's been a while and I'm feeling chatty, so buckle up loves, it's gone be a good ride :P

So, last Sunday I just felt generally ill, like I was dying. My head was throbbing, I was feverish and having hot flashes. Monday was the same. Tuesday was the same. Wednesday night my left eye was just killing me. Super sensitive to light, so dry, itchy, burning and leaking like a bad plumbing job. Thursday was more of the same. Friday morning I officially said hello to pink eye. Yay, right? I've battled it all weekend long. I even sat out the new X Men movie because of it. Last night in our PGD chat, one of the girls mentioned washing your eyes with baby shampoo to get rid if it. What? I was only half paying attention by then, my eye was bothering me so bad. I didn't really think much of it and just went to bed. This morning I said something to Brandy about it and he just looked at me like maybe I'd spun around in a circle one too many times. But, after I stumbled to the bathroom and fell into the shower(really people, without my contacts I can not see more than a handful of inches in front of me. Glasses met a tragic end long ago.), I stared at the bottle of baby shampoo(there are 2 bottles on the side of the tub. The girls *have* to have their own bottle. Gabe doesn't care if his hair ever gets washed) for 2 minutes and then thought, what the heck! I don't know if it's co-inky dink or what but I CAN SEE(as well as I can without my contacts in). But the point is, I washed my eye with Johnson&Johnson's Baby Shampoo, and it's not itchy. It's not leaking. It's not gooey. It's not blazing red. It's still a bit dry feeling, but that's almost normal for me. I never would have thought baby shampoo was the fix for pink eye! Color me amazed. And happy.

Oh, I should probably tell you we all had the swine flu. I swear. We were all running fever. We all had the chills. We all had achy aches. Can't be anything other that swine flu, right? I mean it's "catching" and anyone even kinda sick has it, right? Do you catch the sarcasm dripping off every word here?

Good sales in the digi world this weekend. I am right proud of myself. I only spent right at $5. I'm not counting the stuff from TLP's May BYOC I bought because Rachel is guesting there this month and I needed it. :D Usually I'm such an impulse buyer when iNSD rolls around....I take a sale as a free for all. I've used less than a quarter of what I bought last year(actually, I moved all but a handful of things off the EHD and onto a dvd....you know, because I just used it so much.) This year, I put the stuff in my cart and let it set. I made myself ponder was it something I really needed/wanted, or something I just liked. If my adding is right, I saved about $83 doing that. Actually, the last $12 I spent I wish I hadn't. They're just sitting there looking pretty, and I'm not using them. But in all honesty, I don't really feel the need to buy that much, since I CT for some serious awesomeness. They keep me in gorgeousness. I really only shop 2 people regularly, and a few random here and there. I did, however, shop at SSD designs for the first time today. I got some of Traci Reed's stitching. I'm not real sure why I've never shopped there before, cute stuff. I was browsing through the challenges. That's going to have to wait, though, seeing as how I own the 1 SSD item, LOL! Maybe when pay day rolls around again....

OMG, does anyone realize what happens on Tuesday?? My Collectors Twilight Blu-Ray ships!!!!! Hooray! I can't wait to get it and all the goodies! Which reminds me....the stupid battery in the watch I got with the DVD from Hastings is SO dead. Wow. That lasted a whole month. Since I didn't make the wolverine movie with my boys Friday night, the girls and I hung out here and watched Twilight. It seriously tickles me E knows most of the words(I swear she's only seen it less than a handful of times!) Al finally caught the tv in the hospital--it just floored her that it was showing Bella's "memories" about the whole thing. And I fell in love with Emmett again. *Swoon*

Which brings us to New Moon.
Let's start with this....WTH??(totally watch it full screen, hit the little blue arrows)

The Bella Motorcycle Mystery (Twilight New Moon) from VancityAllie on Vimeo.

Ok, like I said, WTH? Bella only rides motorcycles with Jake--who's this dude? I'm assuming maybe instead of just "seeing'" Edward when she walks up to the guys in Port Angeles, she just hops on a bike and takes off to do it, but jeez. But I'm ok, I'm ok(I keep telling myself that anyway) from everything else I've seen, this is playing close to the book.

I really don't have much else. Cute little photos from filming popping up everywhere, adorable interviews with people(I am still SO jazzed about Tinsel Korey--I think she's perfect for this) So yeah, I suck for Twilight news today :P

Hmm....what have I scrapped lately? Anyone want to see?(and if you click on them it's the full sized version, they're so tiny in the actual post)

This is the first non-CT LO I've done in a while. It's not that I set out to only do CT LO's. When I'm scrapping, I tend to use my favorite stuff. It helps that I also happen to CT for a majority of my favorites....so my non-CT LO's usually end up being CT LO's by accident.

And with that, I call it a night. It's 2am, and I've got to get Alee up and ready for school in 4 hours(and I'm sure the other two will just be bouncing off the wall because their daddy will be home and that just kills my little 45 minute nap I get every morning between kicking Alee out the door and the other 2 getting up)......so I'm going to lay here, watch Family Guy, plug my ipod into my head and wait for sleep to come!

Eclipse has a director

So many director rumors for this movie. I was frankly getting a little turned off. But, finally, Summit made the announcement. David Slade will be directing Eclipse. I had to imdb this guy...I haven't watched Hard Candy or 30 Days of Night, so I don't really have an opinion on this one yet. I'll be doing my homework, though, and I promise you an opinion eventually :P

I don't have much else in the way of anything to talk about. I've got, um, 3 scrap pages I've got started and need to finish. Maybe 4, I'm not sure :/ I want to play R6V2, but Brandy's all over this stupid COD game and won't play with me. E's running a fever. Last night she was warm, this morning she was HOT. We've battled it all day long, and currently she's at very warm status, so we're making headway, I guess. She's all laid out beside me with "bank"(that's her blankie, for those of you not in the know..I swear she's going to get married with it. Maybe it'll be her veil). I dug out some summer clothes. It's going to be 85 Friday! I can't wait, and neither can the kids. I should live somewhere tropical, where it's hot and humid year round--that's the only time I'm truly happy!

So, yeah. That's about it today. I think maybe I'm going to watch the Death Note movie
*mwah*

rethinking this whole Team Edward thing....

Ok, so not really. I've been Team Edward since day one. But HELLO! hot damn! You gotta admit, these wolf boys are nice to look at!

Um, just a sec....how old are these boys again? Dang, I don't want to be a nasty old woman drooling over kids.....I'm only looking the ones over the age of 18 pleasepleasegodletatleastoneofthembeleagal

And I'm totally digging the whole pack tattoo....hot. I like tattoos. Tattoos on half nekkid guys
(the over-18-legal-ones, ya know) are better.

November is going to take forever to get here. I'm not even kidding. Seriously.

(Random moment: OMG, the cat is so humping the dog right now! He's just going to town and getting nowhere fast!)

I love all the set photos popping up....I've devoured the pool ones. I just really don't want a cheesy CGI movie, ya know? But, I'm holding on to my "this movie is so going to rock" frame of mind! I'm just so jazzed at how much it looks like the book! I'm dying for New Moon merchandise to start hitting the stores...Brandy's going to hate me :P Could be worse, I keep telling him...(he asks how, for which I have no answer)

(Random moment: wow, stitch has got some serious staying power! I don't think he gets boy cat+boy dog=no fun...I wonder if I should get him some water.....)

And that about wraps it up! I'm off to Hulu to get my Death Note fix!!

Sunday, April 19, 2009

Ok, seriously? I mean....seriously?

I wish people would just pull their heads out of the asses sometimes. Sure, idiots are amusing most of the time, but sometimes I just want to kick them.

All day long it's been 'Stephenie Meyer's being sued' and 'New Moon over' and blahblahBLAH.

7 seconds into the "article" and I'm already calling bullshit. "production was halted on a Studio City California production lot where New Moon is finishing post production." Wow...you mean Studio City California is in Vancouver Canada? Hmph. It's a wonder I didn't fail geography if that's the case. Dr. Peter Benton? Seriously? We spent Fridays in my Nursing class my Jr. and Sr. years of high school watching ER...try again, moron. So I finish the article, just for shits and giggles, and I find myself imaging running over this person. You'd think someone might try a bit harder....at least get some of the facts down. And the Lex more or less confirms it. God love the Lex!

Anywho....time for Fangirl squeeeeeeeeing! Lookielooklook! I am SO happy :D

Ooh, and apparently 'seriously' is the word of the month....I seem to be using it every sentence :P

Lots of nothingness today!

I have tons to catch you up on, so let's get to it!!

First, April is Autism Awareness Month. Pixel Gypsy Designs has teamed up with the National Autism Association to raise money for the Helping Hand program during Autism Awareness month. The Helping Hand program is a donation driven, financial aid program that provides grant money to families in need who have dependents with Autism to help pay for therapy, biomedical treatments and supplements.

Now, I know so many people have been burned by charity kits and such(I know I'm very picky about who I deal with when it comes to this), but have no fear! PGD has set it up so that your donations are made directly to Helping Hand.

When you donate $10 to Helping Hand, you will get an amazing kit put together by the PGD Designers....just look!

Is it not the most gorgeous kit? But wait! There's more! Donate over $10 and receive the Uniquely You Mega Collab Kit PLUS a PGD Gift Certificate equal to the amount that you donated over $10 (example: donate $50 to helping hand and receive the mega collab plus a $40 gift certificate)! How sweet is that? And here's a LO I did using it

So what are you waiting for?? Head here-->http://www.pixelgypsydesigns.com/naa to read all the details, and for the link to make donations(http://www.nationalautismassociation.org/proddetail.php?prod=PixelGypsyDonations)

In other news....LOL!
Easter is over. Of course my kids were sick. Naturally. And so was Mason. It kills me that all four of them always get sick at the same time. They were all dripping snot and running fever. But everyone was in a pretty good mood....maybe it was all the sugar! What's that? What's my favorite photo from Easter? I'm so glad you asked! Just take a looksie at this and tell me it's not great!

I love it! Masey was screaming so I stuck it on his head(no worries folks, it was way bigger than his tiny little head, plenty of room)
The kids ended up with way more candy than they ever need, and had fun egg hunting-well, the girls did...Gabe didn't want to hunt eggs, he felt so bad. Jess drove everyone batty with her "I gotta be at work at 6:30. AM. In the morning"..... it was real drama *giggle* The bummer of the day was it rained so hard, and I totally didn't have my Twilight umbrella. I left it home cause I was just so sure it was going to hold off until night. I was really bummed :o(

Ready for some Twilight news?? I really don't have much. I'm not exactly thrilled with a lot of the casting. Dakota Fanning is Jane--BARF! Jamie Campbell Bower is Caius--Double BARF! Michael Sheen is Aro--WTF?? My only bright spot in the casting hooplah has been that Tinsle Korey is Emily--that one I'm extremely pleased about! Oooh, and I read that a party scene with the Cullen's and Bella is scheduled to be shot tomorrow. Party? Bella? Cullen's? Sounds like some pretty sweet paper cut action to me! You all know how jazzed I was about Twilight...it's worse with New Moon. Seriously, I had my doubts at first. I'm not a fan of switching directors for every movie in a saga. The whole Taylor thing bugged me(seriously, how could they NOT want to keep him?!)...but the more I read, the more I see, my expectations are very high for this movie!! 219 days to go!!

Oh, Little Edward! He says hi! ;o)

Have I told yall how in love I am with Paranormal State? OMG, it's not even funny! I so wish I live in Pennsylvania so I could apply to be a part of the PRS :o( The show scares me shitless, of course. I can't watch it alone(well, I can, I'd just prefer not to!) , but I never miss it...I count down the minutes until it's on. The whole thing fascinates me, on so many levels. I am such a believer, and such a wuss! There are things I could tell you that would make you look at me like I'm completely looney(ok, more than you already do!).............

Anywho, that's it for now. There's more, but I am seriously starving and need to feed the heathens. We're having chicken stuff--I think it's really called Italian Chicken with green beans and rice or some nonsense, but chicken stuff works here. It's chicken, italian style green beans, rice, and tomatoes with basil, garlic and oregano all mixed up in a pot. Super duper yummy. I just wish I didn't have to cut the chicken--gag me with a spoon!

aaaannnnddd....I'm back

I think I've got everything done. I moved most everything over, except the stuff about project 365. I'm not doing it anymore, and it just seemed like a waste. I've still got a few things to get the kinks out of....I'm moving to slider instead of rockyou, so you'll just have to deal with the layouts only showing a bit until I get all my stuff uploaded over there--right now it's just a place holder :P

I haven't been doing much scrapping, just a page here and there. But, I had a great idea the other day, and kind of ran with it. I think it's one of my new favorites(and I don't have many, LOL!)

This LO is kind of my evil side coming out. It's not real obvious, but it's in direct answer to a thread at a *certain* scrapping board.....the more I read "I'm so sick of hearing about Twilight" "I don't want to see anymore Twilight layouts".....well, you get the idea ;o) I can't let an opportunity like that pass me by, now can I? Anywho, things just kinda happened with that LO, the more I worked on it the more I liked it.

Hmm....Oh! Did I tell you I got myself a little Edward?(I guess it's kind of obvious from the layout, huh?) Well, you get to hear about it anyway. We were in Spencers, and I just couldn't pass it up again. Brandy's been a real good sport about it, though sometimes I do catch him looking at me with that maybe she's finally gone off the deep end look. So, yeah, I've got a Little Edward(Pocket Edward is so everywhere!) I'll end up with everyone NECA makes, I'm dying for Alice to come out! So now, say hello to Little Edward(if you get my tweets or hang at BOM you've probably already met him and head all about him!)

Aint he just a doll? LOL!!

I really don't have much to blog about today. I really should be cleaning the house, but I keep putting it off until after lunch :P

Get your tickets for the crazy bus(they’re free!!)

I decided last week I was going to blog at least once a week every week(did I already tell you this? I can’t remember.) So this is it….I actually hope to blog more than once, but we’ll see how it goes!

Let’s see….where to start….Oh! I know!! Twilight is always a good place to start :P

We hit the midnight release at Hastings. It surprised me how many people were there. I think the adult/kid ratio was even, maybe even a few more adults!! I so totally rocked the trivia! I found out that if you stick one leg out behind you, hop up and down on one foot, wave your arm over your head and yell “Oh! Ooh! OOOHHH!’ really loud you’re more likely to get picked :P I answered two of the questions(got a poster for Alee and me), the rest I just answered myself. I tried to get Brandy to answer the guys only question(I was practically yelling the answer at him) but he wouldn’t raise his hand–turd. I was first in line in the M-Z line(YAY!) and I got the *first* DVD! And….it came with the watch! I was so shocked since they said they were out, but hey, I’m not knocking it! Wanna see? Of course you do! First is the movie and watch, and the next is a better look at the watch

And it’s looks different than the one that comes with the Blu-Ray, so that’s good! Oh, and I did score some stuff from Wal-Mart. I got a messenger bag(What if I’m not the Her0) and 2 shirts! I was impressed with the amount of stuff they had at Dyersburg. Not so much Ripley. Big surprise there, huh? Anywho, we came home and watched the movie. Gabe and EE crashed about a quarter of the way through it, Alee made it to the ballet studio, and Brandy stayed awake the whole movie! Of course, he hasn’t wanted to watch it since, LOL!

I am so glad it’s finally warming up!! I am beyond sick of cold nasty weather. It’s going to be in the 70’s(and 80 on Friday!) all week, but it’s also going to rain. Which is ok, because I love a good thunderstorm! Summer can’t get here soon enough! I am ready for the heat and the humidity and just being outside and feeling the sun on my skin, baking all my worries away!

Spring Break is finally over, thank god! It was terrible. Alee is the ring leader, I swear. Gabe and EE are bad enough on their own, add Al into the mix coming up with things to do, and it’s a nightmare! But we all survived, barely. I only had to peel gum off the dogs a couple times.

Hmm, what else? I think I’ve got my mojo back. I got a LO done the other day(TW reference in it, of course) and I’m pretty pleased with the way it turned out. Well, ok, I wouldn’t say pleased, but I didn’t immediatly trash it, either. Um, I got the kit for the first SUTUCS challenge. Kit’s cute, don’t know what I’m going to do with it. Shouldn’t have looked through the gallery, either. The stuff is so not my style, and I don’t stand a chance in hell, either. I’ve got till Friday to get the LO done and uploaded, so we’ll see how it goes.

Some exciting stuff going on at PGD…..the birthday bash is still going on, and awesome things in shop! Also, some nifty things are bing rumored for April!

Been to BOM lately? Come play with us(we even have a whole Twilight board!)

Ok, guess that’s all for now…the kids are walking around saying things like hungry, dying of starvation….

embracing my inner fangirl

I think it’s time to admit my secret. I am a fangirl. What? You say you already knew that? It’s been obvious from day one? Pfftt….I never could keep a secret! What tipped you off? Was it that I keep reading the books over and over? The shirts? The jewlery? The random(and almost overwhelming) collection of Twilight Booty? Because I named my dog Emmett’s Bear Chowder? The way I scream like a 13 year old girl at a Jonas Brothers concert anytime I see something Twilight related? Oh well. It’s not like I’m ashamed of my lifestyle(because really, it’s not an obsession, it’s a way of life!), and I don’t think others should be embarrased for me, either :P So, you might as well get ready for it….I’ve confessed my not so secret secret. You’re going to be hearing way more about Twilight and me than you probably ever wanted to. If you really have a problem with that you should take it up with Heidi. She’s the one that started it all :P

Which reminds me, only 1 day and a handful of hours until I have the dvd in my grubby little hands!!!! I preordered from Hastings(with the lure of a free Twilight watch with every reservation–only to be told later ‘oops, out of watches, sorry!’), so we’re(Brandy and I, of course I’m dragging him with me!!) are hitting the midnight release party, and afterwards we’re hitting WalMart so I can scope out their Twilight Shop(that they don’t have up yet) and see if there is anything I have to have. And then I get to sit around and wait on May(5th or 6th, I can’t remember which!) to get here…my Blu-Ray and all the yummy stuff that comes in the ultimate collectors set will be here then! And yes, I really do need two copies of the movie. I have to have dvd so I can take it anywhere and be able to watch it, and the blu-ray because Brandy said all the movies we buy have to be Blu-Ray, soooo…. :o )

So, yeah, that’s pretty much it for now. The kids are quiet which can only mean they’re up to something they shouldn’t be *sigh* and there’s laundry to be done. So I’ll leave you with this, me embracing my inner fangirl(you can say it, I’m a dork!)

calling it quits

I thing it’s time to admit I hate Project 365 and I’m done. I didn’t expect it to be so…..hard. Normally I love my camera, taking pictures. But lately I’ve just not wanted to even touch my camera. My thoughts have been along the lines of “Gah, time to take another picture” and “Why did I think this was going to be a fun idea?”. I’m just not having fun at all with it anymore, and that’s when it’s time to quit. So, that’s that.

Next Saturday is Brandy and my 11th Anniversary. I just can not wrap my head around the fact we have been married for over a decade. It just doesn’t seem like it’s been that long, but, at the same time it feels like it’s been forever. I knew the instant I saw Brandy again that night at the Choir Concert that I was going to marry him-I even told one of my friends that while we were standing in the office waiting to sign in. I just knew it-I saw everything, my whole life with him, when he walked through the door. And I have to say, I love him more now than I ever have. If things keep going this way I don’t see how my heart isn’t going to burst from loving him so much. Sappy, I know, but it’s the truth :o )

And, speaking of next Saturday, I have to admit I’m totally dreading turning 29. It’s stupid, I know, but I just don’t want to turn 30, and 29 is one step closer. I am totally terrified of getting old, and 30 is that first “old” birthday. Like I said, it’s stupid. Crazy. Irrational. Brandy and I are planning on going out that Friday for our Anniversary. We’re hoping to catch a late showing of The Knowing(gotta have my Nicholas Cage fix!) and then hitting Hastings for the Midnight Release of Twilight(even though it’s reserved and they’ll hold it for 24 hours, I still have to get it the second it’s available). And then I’m coming straight home to watch it, of course ! And we have to go to MaMaw’s on Saturday for Jess and my birthday dinner, so I’m taking the laptop so I can watch it again there ;o)

I have the DVD reserved at Hastings, and then I have the Collector’s Edition Blu-Ray reserved that’s coming in May. My original plan was to just get the Blu-Ray on the 21st, and the collectors edition, too, but I really didn’t want to have to drive all the way to Jackson(the closest Target and Best Buy) to get it. So, we decided the best route to go was to reserve the DVD at Hastings, and get the collectors Blu-Ray. It’s really the best idea…..with the DVD I can have it handy for the laptop(if we ever go somewhere or something like that), and have the Blu-Ray for home. So, YAY, two copies of Twilight, lol!

Alee’s reading New Moon again(Brandy bought her her own copy of NM, cause I’m stingy with mine), and I think when she finishes it I’m just going to go ahead and let her read Eclipse, and then Breaking Dawn. I was holding off on them(especially Eclipse–I had to stop reading and pounce on Brandy right around page 186 :P ) because they were a little bit more….mature than the first two. But it’s killing her. And I know how crack-like they are, how you have to read the next one as soon as you finish one…it killed me waiting the 2 or 3 months for Breaking Dawn came out(I am still glad I didn’t start reading them sooner–I can’t imagine waiting years in between them!) So, yeah, I think I’m just going to cave and let her read them. I figure we can talk about anything in it she needs to(god knows it won’t be anything like that sex talk we had-that was a nightmare, mostly because I wasn’t ready for it!)

Anywho, the kids and Chowder are fighting over blocks so…..

INK!!!!

So, Friday night we went and got tattoos! Yay!! It’s been way to long since I’ve had fresh ink! I’d been working on my tattoo for months, and finally got it right. Took it in and Dean had some awesome ideas, and OMG, I am so thrilled with the way it turned out!! These pictures are from Saturday morning, so you’ll have to excuse my bedhead :o )

ink

It kinda took on a life of it’s on after I had it drawn up, but, like I said, I’m beyond thrilled with the results! Definitely my favorite tatt!

You know I totally did a layout about it, too…andI have to say, it’s one of my more favorite ones. I love the….chaoticness to it!

It snowed Saturday….a little over 6 inches by Sunday morning. The joke–there’s been no school all week. Seriously, they could have gone Monday….we get to today it’s not even funny. I’m assuming since I haven’t heard anything there will be school tomorrow. Lord I hope so, anyway :P

We went to Jackson Monday since Al was out of school and and Brandy was off work. I bought my first ever bra from Victoria’s Secret! I have issues with spending huge amounts of money on myself, but Brandy insisited, sooo….I picked up one of those Biofit bras….gotta admit, I’m loving it!!!! Still not sure I’ve recovered from dropping $45 on a bra, but whatever. Did a little damage in Hot Topic, too. Not too bad, I only picked up one shirt(Alee got one and the Cullen Crest locket), but Brandy did go into Hastings Sunday and pick me up a few things! ;o)

So, yeah, that’s pretty much it here. Counting down the dyas until I have Twilight in my hands(16 days!)

*mwah*

Time to face it, I just suck at blogging. I have every intention of doing it (almost) every day, but when it’s all said and done at the end of the day blogging just gets left off my list of things to do. I do Twitter with a vengeance, though (usually)!

So, let’s see…what’s new in my corner of the world………not much :P

ADSR is over, and Amanda and I finished(we opted to not do challenge 13–so glad that challenge was optional) I complain about almost every aspect of it, but, just like the last go round, I’m glad I did it and proud to say I was able to finish it!

I’m still doing Project 365. I’m just far too lazy to resize and frame my photos these days and get them up here on my blog. One of these days, though, there will be another very lengthy catch up post ;0)

My laptop still isn’t home. I’m beginning to lose my patience with Best Buy(or maybe it’s Sony I should be ill with…) I want my laptop back!!!!! Scrapping on the desktop is suckish. It just isn’t able to handle PSE7 very well.

Kids are fine(I swear they’re pure evil…especially E), growing like weeds(which I hate). I swear, just for a little while, I’d like for them to stop growing. Stay my babies, ya know? It kills me to look at Alee. She’s so dang growney it’s not even funny….not to mention the mouth on that kid(don’t know where in the world she got that ;o) )

Dogs hate each other. I swear I’m just waiting for one of them to not make it out of the fight. It’s got to the point where I’m afraid to break them up anymore-I’m afraid I might lose a hand or something. You can almost see Chowder growing. No joke, you can tell a difference from the time you go to bed and the time you get up. The little bitch has just about eaten all of my panties, too. That ticks me off. Not only is it gross, but it’s really inconvenient as crap! And he invited himself into my shower today. Just plowed right on through the curtain, almost knocked me down.

Did you know that there is only 273 until New Moon?!? Yep, that’s right…..pretty soon it’ll be all New Moon, all the time :P Some people seem to think my Twilight habit has reached unhealthy obsession status. I heard Brandy use the word intervention. He’s like my drug dealer, though, supplying my habit….I got awesome Twilight Booty for Vday….a new shirt, a calender, a bag, buttons, Rosalie’s Pendant(Alee got the last of Alice’s choker-the little snot), a calender, and the Special Collectors Edition Twilight. Oh, and the Movie Companion (which no where ever had in stock when I went to buy it!) See, he supplies my habit really well! My collection of Twilight Booty is almost out of control, I wipe Hot Topic out everytime we go there :P

That’s pretty much it on the Pilcher front…..we’re pretty boring ;o)

Twilight--The Movie

You’re all dying to know what I thought, right? Of course you are! That’s what I thought!

I absolutely, 100%, totally frickin LOVED it!!!!!!!!!!!! I can not wait to see it again(and oh boy you bet I am )! I was worried about being crammed in with a bunch of annoying kids, but we weren’t! Yay! And the ones who were there were quiet the whole movie! I think it’s a good thing we waited until Saturday to watch it.

So, the things I didn’t like:
Not enough of the rest of the Cullens. I could have done with WAY more Alice and Emmett(and his eggs ).
The wardrobe. I expected more snazzy clothing…what was up with the dark colors, anyway?
The sparkle. Um, Alee has some Bratz glitter powder that might have been better(I expected way better from ILM ).
I missed the “Do I dazzle you” convo..that made me sad.
The two kids in front of me making out the whole movie…WTF? Get a room, or at least keep the slobber sucking sound down a little.
My only WTF moment was when Billy and Jacob pull up and Billy was driving…..yah, that baffled me.

Yeeaaahhhhh….that pretty much sums up my disappointment list.

So, do you want to hear about all the things I loved? I could just say the whole movie… I’ll just tell ya my most favorites!

OMG….I swear I got all hot and bothered over *the kiss* Even though I knew it wasn’t going to happen, I was like HELL YEAH! SEX!!!!! RIP HER PANTIES OFF
I loved the baseball scene….”Nice kitty” OMG, I had coke come out my nose! That might have very well been my favorite scene in the whole movie.
Money. Sex. Money. Sex. Cats. Just doesn’t get any better than that!
Loved the ending….with Victoria there….watching Bella and Edward….I got chills!

I love Alice. ’nuff said.

I am so pleased with the movie! Yes, it was slow in some parts, and cheesy and forced in others, but I loved it…I think they did really good with it.

Even Brandy said it wasn’t as bad as he thought it was going to be. By about half way through onto the end he liked it. He said he liked Alice–she was the prettiest, and Rosalie cause she has a big ass

Alee’s like me, she loved it! We were *those obnoxious laughing people* for a minute, because, when they were laying in the “meadow” Al snorted and said “He turned to stone”….maybe you just had to be there….trust me, it was funny. I think she might have shit herself when Alice jumped on James and snapped his head….she come up out of her seat a little and yelled “HOLY CRAP!”

Did I mention I loved it?
